Practice Ancillary

Conventions of front cover
  • The strap I made for my front cover is located at the top of the page similar to the TV & Satellite magazine. This will be the first bit of information that will draw the audiences attention.
  • The masthead is at the top left corner of the page to draw the readers attention. Also I chose the colour red for the first half of the name to create a brand identity and make the magazine stand out.
  • The picture is anchored with the largest text on the page showing the reader the meaning behind the image.
  • The main features of the magazine are down the left side highlighted with the brand colour of red and yellow.
  • I also added extra information on the right hand side and highlighted the 'plus' to draw the audiences attention and to act as a unique selling point.
